We prefer steel to aluminum ... Steel is much less expensive, stronger, less maintenance, easier to paint & no electrolysis problems. BUT if you wish to build in Aluminum we can provide a kit in that material. Generally speaking an aluminum kit costs twice that of the steel kit of equal size .... Aluminum is recommended for planing hulls designed to perform at over 25 knots.

Pre cut power boat kits contain all the metal parts required to build a complete powerboat. These parts are computer generated and NC Plasma cut before they are packed and delivered ready for you to start assembling and welding into the finished power boat. We design and nest the package using our specialized computer programs The powerboat kits are then cut on a computerized plasma-oxygen cutter. Each part is numbered for identification and has all relevant marking lines engraved to determine the position in the construction.

Complete assembly boat plans and written instructions are supplied with each power boat kit.

The kits contain all the pre-shot blasted and primed steel to build the hull, decks and superstructure. All framing, stringers, engine beds, 'T' sole bearers, deck beams, deck stringers and all exterior hull, deck and cabin plating is included. You also receive 3 steel bulkheads complete with stiffeners. In radius chine boats, all the rounded chine plates are included rolled to the exact shape and curvature for a perfect fit. Windows and doorways are cut out as required. Complete assembly and engineering plans supplied. Delivery is included.

For example, an 12 m ( 40' ) motor yacht would comprise of around 500 parts! These kits are shipped world-wide, using the most efficient method of transport, either by road, rail or sea, organised and controlled by experienced professionals.
